Two forms of support,
one integrated design

At First Tree, whether we are advising an employer or an individual, we begin by understanding your long‑term vision. We organise and assess your current situation, then design the most suitable migration pathways for your goals.
Please explore the full scope of our support for both employers and individuals.

Who We Serve

Two entry points,
one shared goal

For a migration to succeed, both the employer and the individual must be prepared.

First Tree supports both sides — organising and designing the visa pathway from each perspective. No matter which side contacts us first, we always consider the full picture, including the needs of the other party.

For Businesses
Workforce strategy
for growth

In Australia, where labour costs are more than twice those in Japan, securing skilled talent for roles that cannot be replaced by technology is essential for business success. Designing a workforce strategy that includes overseas recruitment — alongside domestic hiring — is critical for long-term stability.

As an advisory migration agent for small business owners, First Tree applies the latest immigration law accurately and supports the visa strategy required to secure the right talent.

For Individuals
Finding the visa pathway
that truly fits you

You may want to aim for permanent residency, explore visas without age limits, or understand what to do after a refusal — life rarely goes exactly as planned. Immigration law changes frequently, and information shared on social media is often outdated.

First Tree provides clear, jargon-free explanations of the overall system, and supports you through preparation, application, and post-lodgement stages.

Prerequisites

The foundations required
for a successful migration

A visa being granted and a migration truly succeeding are two different questions.

What Actually Matters

An Initial Consultation
that goes beyond simple Q&A

Our Initial Consultation is not a basic interview.
It is a structured strategy session where we clarify the essential conditions for a sustainable migration — for both businesses and individuals.
You do not need to have documents or a complete history prepared; we build the clarity together.

Clarifying your direction before choosing a visa

First Tree is not simply a visa lodgement service. We act as your advisory agent, supporting the pathway that aligns with your life and long-term goals. Our director works with you directly.

  • 01
Understanding your intentions and life plan Why Australia? How long do you want to stay? What kind of work and lifestyle do you want? Your answers determine the right pathway.
  • 02
Designing your pathway backwards from permanent residency If PR is your goal, we design your career and employment structure with that endpoint in mind.
  • 03
Selecting the right visa and pathway The most well-known visa is not always the best one. With over 120 visa types in Australia, we identify the route that fits your occupation, history, and goals.
  • 04
Aligning expectations with your employer Costs, obligations, and sponsorship duration must be agreed upon with your employer in advance. We help you understand what needs to be aligned.

Our Approach

Why we focus on
designing a migration that truly works

So you can shape your own pathway through life — with clarity, intention, and agency.

Clarifying your goals early and understanding the visa requirements that support them is the most effective way to move forward. Our role at First Tree is to provide accurate, grounded information and to walk alongside you as you build the pathway that aligns with your future.

Where thoughtful design
makes the difference

Employer-sponsored migration and training-based migration — the two pathways where First Tree’s strengths are most evident.

01

Employer-Sponsored Migration

Employer-sponsored migration is achieved through visas such as the Skilled In Demand visa (subclass 482) and the Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186).

Success depends on both the employer and the applicant meeting the standards set by the Australian Government — and being able to demonstrate this clearly and accurately.

First Tree supports the full design and preparation process from both sides, ensuring the pathway is structured in a way that is realistic, compliant, and sustainable.

02

Training-Based Migration

The Training visa (subclass 407) allows employers to provide structured training for up to two years, including applications from outside Australia. Employers pay the government‑mandated salary while developing talent through a formal training plan.

First Tree works closely with the employer’s supervisor to design an individualised training plan for each applicant, and we continue to monitor progress throughout the training period.

How It Works

From consultation to lodgement

We begin by organising your situation, clarifying the conditions required for a successful migration, and agreeing on the pathway before moving into preparation.

Step 1

Clarifying the big picture Free 15min pre-talk

A short pre-talk to understand your current situation and assess the feasibility of your visa options. This step creates the map for “where to begin.”

  • Review current visa status, work history, and employment structure
  • Clarify visa categories and requirements
  • Outline the overall application timeline
Step 2

Strategy development: Initial Consultation AUD 220

We work backwards from your end goal, review materials in advance, and give specific advice. You leave knowing your next actions. If you engage us for lodgement, the $220 consultation fee is credited toward service fees.

  • Identify possible visa options
  • Compare your situation with visa requirements
  • Clarify specific next steps
  • Consumer guide provided and explained
Step 3

Engagement for visa support

We prepare a service agreement when you engage us. It is in English; we explain any questions in detail. Service begins after signature and payment of the initial fee.

  • Service agreement provided and explained
  • Initial fee paid (balance at lodgement)
Step 4

Document planning and application support

Every required document has a purpose. We explain “why it is needed” and “how to prepare it,” and support you through the entire process.

  • Document list creation and review
  • Assistance with preparing and checking application documents
Step 5

Visa lodgement

We optimise the timing of submission, review all documents multiple times, and support additional evidence after lodgement.

  • Optimised submission timing
  • Application preparation and multi-stage checks
  • Support for both initial and post-lodgement documents
Step 6

Support during the bridging visa period

Bridging visas are no longer granted immediately in many cases.
We ensure you do not fall into unlawful status and manage all required communication with the Department.

  • Enquiries to the Department if a bridging visa is delayed
  • Bridging visa type-change procedures
  • Work-condition variation applications
Step 7

Post-decision support

After the outcome, we continue supporting you toward your next goal — permanent residency or citizenship.

  • Review next steps based on the result
  • Ongoing planning and support
Step 8

Merits review after refusal

After refusal we lodge a timely merits review with the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART)—identifying grounds, preparing evidence, and supporting hearings including rehearsal and attendance.

  • Correct procedures within the deadline
  • Bridging status and work condition negotiations
  • Identify refusal reasons, respond, prepare new evidence
  • ART hearing preparation and attendance

Let's Begin

Let's Begin With Design,
Not Just With Decisions

Consultation is not about reaching a conclusion — it is about starting the design.

First Tree treats visas not as paperwork alone, but as design for workplaces and lives that keep moving. Before we talk applications, we clarify where you are and what conditions apply — then, if needed, we decide the next step together.

In an initial consultation, we typically cover:

  • Your current situation (employer or worker) and the conditions that apply
  • An overview of the process — information needed, timing, and next actions
  • What First Tree can support and how roles are divided (including external partners where needed)
※ A consultation does not commit you to an engagement or application.
※ Depending on your situation, we explain our scope and recommend the best way forward.
