About

Choose the path that lasts,
not the shortcut

Migration decisions require more than understanding the rules. They call for seeing the workplace, daily life, and future options as one connected journey. At First Tree, we listen to your vision and walk with you toward the path that brings you closer to it.

Who I Am

I don’t want to talk about migration
only in terms of visa outcomes

My background is in planning and sales for the hospitality industry, where I worked closely with venues and saw the realities of business and life on the ground. I became a Registered Migration Agent because I want more Japanese people to have the chance to build a future in Australia through real work experience.

I once dreamed of studying overseas, but financial limitations meant I had to give it up. Later, as a working adult, I felt how quickly options narrow with age. I also had no idea that, if an Australian employer is secured first, it’s possible to apply for an employer‑sponsored visa directly from Japan.

After starting my business in Australia, I met many Working Holiday makers who told me, “If I had known this before coming, I would have chosen differently.” I saw this pattern again and again.

Study abroad opportunities can depend on family finances, but work‑based migration is different. Here in Australia, there are employers who genuinely need skilled, reliable people. With the right attitude, commitment, and willingness to grow, there are real pathways to build a new career. First Tree connects Japanese talent with Australian employers and supports candidates so that, ideally, they already have an employer lined up before they travel.

For those already in Australia, early planning makes all the difference. By understanding your education, work history, and local experience, we can design a pathway that aligns with your goals.

My approach is to support both sides: the viability of the business and the long‑term direction of your life. Migration should be a step forward, not just a visa outcome. That’s why I don’t stop at explaining the rules—I help you clarify your purpose, understand your options, and make choices that genuinely lead toward your future.

Support from both sides — not just “whether the visa is possible,” but whether the business works and life is designed well. Migration should be a step forward in a person’s life. I don’t want to stop at explaining the rules; I want to clarify goals and conditions, and together choose options that lead to the future.

Our Name

What “First Tree”
means to us

First Tree is a name that grew out of time spent with family. It reflects our wish to support people’s ambitions and business growth, while taking seriously the environmental challenges the next generation will inherit. “One migration leaves a cycle in the community” — we chose this name because we want that cycle to be something real and visible.

Like a tree that blooms in spring, a business that takes root in a place grows over time. We believe migration can grow in the same way.

As environmental issues intensify, we feel that doing business on this land comes with a responsibility to give back to the community. For every migration we support, we plant one tree and publish the results. It is our way of turning our philosophy into ongoing, tangible action.

Our Expertise

A decade on the ground
makes the difference

Frontline insight in hospitality — and specialist migration law.

SD Marketing Global Pty Ltd, led by our director, was founded in 2014. Since then, we have worked directly with small businesses and sole traders across Australia’s hospitality sector, solving marketing and operational challenges. On the ground, we also saw employers’ real struggle to secure strong talent while keeping labour costs and their businesses sustainable.

We also launched Washoku Lovers, a community media platform for Japanese food in Australia, and have spent more than a decade deeply involved in hospitality hiring and employment.

That is why First Tree can support you with more than “whether the visa is possible” — we ask whether hiring will work on the floor. Drawing on a decade of frontline experience and migration law expertise, we offer pathways that work for employers managing labour costs and for people who want to work in Australia.

Let's Begin

Let's Begin With Design,
Not Just With Decisions

Consultation is not about reaching a conclusion — it is about starting the design.

First Tree treats employment and visas not as paperwork alone, but as design for workplaces and lives that keep moving. Before we talk applications, we clarify where you are and what conditions apply — then, if needed, we decide the next step together.

In an initial consultation, we typically cover:

  • Your current situation (employer or worker) and the conditions that apply
  • An overview of the process — information needed, timing, and next actions
  • What First Tree can support and how roles are divided (including external partners where needed)
※ A consultation does not commit you to an engagement or application.
※ Depending on your situation, we explain our scope and recommend the best way forward.
